I am a journalist, worked for Bisnis Indonesia, the economic newspaper published in Jakarta, Indonesia for about 17 years. I was managing editor of the paper for three years in charge of capital market, financial institutions, and macroeconomy until I got scholarship to be a visiting scholar at UC Berkeley for one year (2004-2005). I was Thomson Fellow to study advanced journalism in UK (1998) with scholarship from British Council. I worked part-time for Chemical News Intelligence (CNI) Online, a Reed Business (UK) publication in the period of 1999-2003.
I left Bisnis Indonesia in November 2008 after almost three years led the Bisnis Indonesia Intelligence Unit.
Currently I'm the owner and publisher of Yosefardi.com. The Edge (Singapore) also publish regularly my articles. I'm writing a book titled Reinventing Crony Capitalism.
